Fort McMURRAY POP UP SHOP
We’re excited to be heading up for our 3rd pop up shop in the fine city of Fort McMurray, Alberta! You begged us, so we changed our plans and we’re making it happen.
We are now taking appointments for Thursday April 25 and Friday April 26 between 10:00-7:00pm. Book by calling 855-307-3774 or email Fittings@TheBraLounge.ca.
Appointments will be 15-20 minutes long, and if we cannot accommodate that day with the perfect style we will be able to let you know of other products and sizes we could ship once we return home. An in person fitting is the BEST way to get started, and we can then help you over the phone for all your undergarment needs moving forward.
Please make all efforts to keep your appointment time. We want to see as many ladies as we can while we’re there, so late-comer’s may have their appointments bumped.
We are ONLY bringing bras, but if you have specific requests for matching sets, shapewear, underwear, or accessories please let us know ahead of time. Get more info on the event here!
We can’t wait to see everyone!

Community, connection & cancer
Join us for our 3rd gathering as we unite with local organizations who have products and services focused on cancer support.
Confirmed attendees include: Wellspring Calgary , Cancer Control Alberta, Gay Brinton - wig specialist with Copper Lane, Knitted Knockers Alberta, Love Yoga Grace, Light Haven Wellness Retreat Society. If you know of a group or service who you feel should be there, please send us a message.
Through these get togethers, we strive to unite cancer warriors to help them build a care network, and introduce them to local services they may not know about to support them through their journey. Since meeting so many women coming to us for their mastectomy/lumpectomy needs, we have come to realize Red Deer lacks in emotional supports during and after treatments. This is something we want to change, for our customers, and everyone touched by cancer.
We’re celebrating 12 years in business, and we’d love if your pretty face was there! Join us in store Friday February 1st between 10:00-5:00 and pick your discount when you make a purchase! Everyone will save a minimum of 12% with the opportunity to save up to 50% off! We have clearance stock still available, new styles arriving weekly, plus… we’re kinda fun to hang out with :D
In the meantime, if you’re planning to come in beforehand, you can enter to win a $120 gift card when you spend a minimum of $50! Increase your odds with every $50 spent - if you spend $150 you’ll get your name in 3 times! We’ll be choosing a winner from every day, and those names go into the final draw for the gift card, which will be made the morning of February 1st. We hope to see you to help us celebrate our - SAY WHAT? - 12TH ANNIVERSARY!
2019 RED DEER JUSTICE FILM FESTIVAL
We are once again excited to involved in the Red Deer Justice Film Festival happening January 24-26, 2019 at the Welikoklad Event Centre, Downtown Red Deer. The film they have chosen us to sponsor is again this year incredibly relevant to us as we see this issue daily in the store and in the fashion industry in general. ‘Fatitude’ is a documentary on fat discrimination and the people who are affected by it. It’s main objective is to make the general public more aware of the prejudice that fat people experience. We hope you’ll join us for this, the final show of the event, Saturday the 26th at 9:45pm.
3rd Annual Favourite Things Fashion Show
Our 3rd Annual Fashion Show was held Saturday November 10, 2018 at the Sheraton Hotel, Red Deer. We were honoured to have the commitment of some pretty phenomenal, courageous, beautiful women, all of whom we have met through the store whether they are customers of ours or friends of friends. The room was full of powerful energy; guests coming to enjoy a “girls night out” got much more than they expected when on stage appeared REAL women, LOCAL women, baring all to share the message of body acceptance and self love! Our model’s showed up with everything we hoped they would - a powerful presence in front of 200+ guests and unwavering love for each other that flowed throughout the room. They supported each other, and in return, the entire room supported them back. Our guests were on their feet, applauding and crying with overwhelming joy and compassion for the women on stage.
2nd Annual Favourite Things Fashion Show
We wrapped up our 10th year in business with another customer appreciation and fundraiser for a cause near to our hearts, Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
Imagine your child's diagnosis at 3 weeks old, 2 years old, 8 years old. The age doesn't matter. All that matters is that how a "terminal" diagnosis rock's a family forever.
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is the most common fatal genetic disease affecting Canadian children and young adults.
At present, there is no cure.
2017 Business of the Year Awards
What a way to put a bow on our 10th year in business. What an incredible honour to be chosen as THE BEST small business in the city. We just cant put into words how special that night was, or how special every single message and comment of congratulations is. Women who knew our Mom are messaging from all over Alberta to express their well wishes and share stories of her. There truly could be no greater honour than to have the chance to share her legacy with the community that has helped make our dreams come true. This has been the highlight of this Bra Lounge journey, no question.
1st Annual Favourite Things Fashion Show
We put our beloved Steampunk Cabaret on the back burner for a little while... with the closing of the only venue perfect enough to host our costume party, Fratters Speakeasy, closing this summer, and the struggling economy, we have decided to take a break for this year.
The good news is, this gave us time to plan something incredible to kick off our 10th year in business (SAY WHAAA?), while still giving focus to a charity that is near and dear to our hearts.
